Grandparents’ photography: What’s involved?

I offer all my clients a relaxed family photoshoot experience. We go on location in or around Leeds, Harrogate and York, whichever is most convenient to you.

Regardless of who, and however many people, are to be involved, these sessions are always great fun.

It’s more like family time than a staged photoshoot. Think of it as adventure - a chance to spend some quality time with the grandchildren exploring and playing games, and chatting and laughing together as you normally would. I’ll encourage you to try to forget I’m even there!

Family photography is not about keeping still and posing. It's about natural expressions, being yourselves and capturing you as you are. They definitely don't have to be serious!

As you’ll know if you’ve been following me for a while, I just love working with families of all shapes and sizes. From pregnant ladies and newborn babies through to large groups of family and friends, I’m highly experienced in creating natural portraits of children and adults alike. 

My view is that family photographs should be taken regularly because life flies at an incredible pace and children grow at a phenomenal rate.

It’s only by capturing these changes over the years, in photographs, that the memories can be preserved and remembered in the future.
