Introducing 'Simply Baby': A mini photoshoot for newborns

I’m excited to share the news that I now have a new mini photoshoot for newborns available to book on my website, named 'Simply Baby'.

It’s the latest addition to my specialist baby portrait photography services.

What is a newborn mini session?

As the name suggests, a mini newborn photoshoot is a pared-back version of my signature newborn photography sessions.

The investment for a Simply Baby experience is just £297, making it the most affordable baby photography collection I offer.

What’s included in a mini photoshoot for newborns?

Included in a mini newborn photoshoot is:

·        Exclusive use of my studio and use of props

·        1 hour portrait session

·        5 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images provided one week after the shoot

·        The images will consist of 4 x newborn portraits, and 1 x family portrait

·        A complimentary 10 x 8 inch fine art mounted print

The main difference between a full newborn photoshoot and a mini newborn photoshoot is that a mini session is shorter and simpler, and you come away with fewer portraits. So it’s ideal if you only want a couple of images, or have limited time available to come to my studio with your newborn, or if you prefer an all inclusive price paid upfront. 

What’s involved in a newborn mini session?

As with all my portrait sessions, they’re done at my welcoming newborn photoshoot studio in Boston Spa, near Leeds.

You’ll enjoy a relaxing experience, safe in the knowledge that I am a seasoned newborn photographer and know how to handle your precious little baby safely and with care.

The Simply Baby mini sessions are short and sweet, so everything will be done within around an hour. In that time, I’ll capture your baby in a variety of poses, as well as involve you for a parent and baby portrait too.

Throughout, I’ll take care of everything. I’ll sooth your baby if they are a little unsettled at first, and I’ll capture your baby’s portraits in my timeless and contemporary style.

Following the shoot, I’ll send you a link to download your gallery of five images which you can then have printed or share digitally with family and friends. 

·        Are parents of babies aged up to 6 weeks old

Many families don’t manage to organise or attend a newborn photoshoot during the time their baby is in the “newborn stage” despite wanting professional photographs to capture this special time.   

I hate the thought of any Yorkshire-based families missing out on getting some adorable baby portraits taken, which is why you’re welcome to book one of my mini baby sessions if your child is aged up to six weeks.

Because my mini photoshoots for newborns are less about the picture-perfect styling and posing, they are ideal for families with babies that are past that curled up sleeping new baby phase.

·        First-time parents

The mini photoshoot experience excludes sibling portraits, so is particularly suited to first-time parents who don’t already have other children that they would like to involve in the pictures.

If you do already have other children, and you’d like to have some newborn and family photos with all of you together, then my bespoke newborn photography service is still the best option for you. In those, I’m happy to involve siblings of all ages and we have the luxury of more time to create a variety of family portraits. 

·        Prefer the idea of a fixed all inclusive price

There is no booking fee when you choose to book a Simply Baby newborn photoshoot, nor will you have the dilemma of choosing from a collection of photographs.

The all inclusive price of £297 is payable in advance of the shoot, and for this you will receive five professionally edited beautiful images about a week after the shoot. A complimentary 10 x 8 inch fine art print of your favourite image is also included.

I offer a range of gift vouchers. You can gift a mini newborn photoshoot by purchasing a gift voucher for £297 which covers the full cost. Or, you can purchase gift vouchers in denominations of £100 or £200 and contribute towards the shoot which the recipient can top up themselves.
